In our constant pursuit of economic justice for all workers, the Central Labor Council must maintain an active and engaged membership. There is always a struggle for workplace equality in our local and national economies. Workers’ rights are constantly being violated by bad employers and decent paying jobs are increasingly harder to find. That’s why we “get Involved” in as many aspects of our community as possible and you should too!
The Council partners with dozens of community groups and elected officials to generate positive change in the Central Valley. We are constantly on the front lines of major economic debates. From the minimum wage to retirement security and everything in between, our focus is to improve the lives of all workers through collective action. That’s why we continuously promote and host leadership trainings, workplace actions, social events and civic engagement projects to grow the active part of our membership. When workers stand together, we can change lives with “People Power”. Join our movement. Get involved!
